The Comptroller-General (CGU) had ALICE, a robotic auditor. I had the procurement data infrastructure. Integration was the obvious move — but the partner agency cycled through three complete team rotations over 18 months.
During a critical meeting, I designed the integration architecture on the spot — drafting the data flow live, connecting procurement databases via Azure Data Lake to CGU's core system. That shared artifact broke the deadlock.
